London Kentucky is our epicenter. We generally prefer to work within a 60 mile radius of this area, however we do consider short-term projects, such as roof cleaning and roof replacement beyond these areas.

This is a tough reality that we see oftentimes. To assist,  are three options. 

• We do accept credit card payments. We hate the fees, but understand that this is the day and age that we live it. 
• We work with a great lender at Whitaker Bank who underwrites their own loans and is very community minded. • We are very fortunate to be able to provide grant-funded home solution services for folks that qualify. If you are 62 or older, are buying or own your home, and make less than $40k per year... let's talk. This is government grant based money (free money), which does not require you pay back the grant and will not encumber your property. These funds are earmarked for specific projects related to health and safety, accessibility, and storm-related damage.  If you are outside of this criteria, there are also government programs that we can help you navigate toward that will allow borrowing from the government, again unsecured, at a rate of 1%. If affordability isn't an issue and you're simply curious about payment options, we do accept cash, checks, credit cards, and certain approved vehicle and property trades. We will not consider offers for spouses, children, pets, livestock, food (yet), or positions of political influence.   **The Reliable Companies require a 50% deposit for most projects. Projects that tend to last more than a few days are paid out on draw, based on meeting of metrics and work completed. 

We enjoy meeting folks and discussing their potential projects. While we would LOVE to be able to offer some sort of online estimation system, unfortunately most roofing, renovation and construction projects require an in-person evaluation for best understanding and accuracy. Did you ever hear the story of the roofer who failed to properly evaluate his project? It wasn't long before he found himself in over his head!  Reliable Roofing Solutions use a variety of techniques to evaluate potential roofing projects, both residential and commercial. Satellite imagery is one method, drone measurement is another. But the most effective, tried and true methods is in person measurements, which also allows a deeper look at other potential issues such as wall and roof flashing, drip edge, gutters, lift and brittle tests, and much more. Sure, that's much more time consuming, but we aren't in business to do what is easiest or best for ourselves!

Roof cleaning is one of, if not the most important maintenance service that we offer at The Reliable Companies. The sad fact is that most people don't even realize that this is a thing until it's too late and complications arise, coupled with insurance sparring to see who comes out on top.  The reason for roof discoloration, moss growth, and other various tarnishing is because your roof is very unhealthy! The viability of your shingles are being challenged due to an a  lowered pH environment, permitting an unhealthy and destructive environment fueled by mildew, algae, moss, bacteria, and lichen. As with any attack from an untreated invasive organism, the problem will NOT just go away on its own. In fact, these organisms grown in size and ability, eventually penetrating the integrity of the shingles, working their way into the wooden roof decking on your home. Now, not only is the longevity of your shingles being slowly and silently dissipated right in front of your eyes, but the health of your roof itself becomes under attack! Anyone out there allergic or concerned with black mold?  

Roof cleaning technically should be an annual event. However, like those who wear two-week contacts for two months, skipping a summer likely won't destroy your roof. 

So how do you clean a roof?   Carefully! As not to further distress the roof, vegetation, pets or people, or your other assets and elements of the home.  We use a soft wash system, which entails clearing of the obvious debris. The goal is to get about ninety percent of the debris off of the roof in order to allow the proprietary chemical treatment to do what it does best. Then, a preventative element (generally including some form of Zinc) is applied and left on the roof's surface. The correct timing of application, the chemicals used, the (sometimes pre and)  post-treatment of the roof will not only restore the remaining health of your roof, it will allow identification of other potential issues, and offer a completely different presentation of your home. 

Roof cleaning is one of our favorite services and is available March-November on a first-come, first-serve basis. How much does it cost? Generally between $600-1600 dollars depending on the size of your roof, how many levels, the amount of growth, the pitch of the roof, etc. Estimates can be provided immediately onsite and we welcome all calls and inquiries, regardless of the type of roof that you may have.
