Our world is one of volume and generally requires a strict schedule. When it is necessary to prioritize an extended project and care for an affected customer rather than continually chasing the bottom line, this can create a lot of tension internally between the admin staff and our accounting group. You see, there’s two very unique focuses here. There’s no question that we aren’t in business to make money. To remain viable, a business must provide stability for their operation, employees, and clients. This comment isn’t meant to create an illusion of a company who donates time, material and pro-bono projects (though we do have resources for that, should you qualify). Nor is it meant to say that we aren’t going to have to remain profitable in each of our endeavors in order to sustain success and add growth. We are and we must.
That, maybe my team should never have turned me loose with content writing on our corporate website? Yes. That too. But I’m also a bit of an old soul, saying that any job worth doing, is worth being done right! That our team, regardless of roof installation or replacement, roof and gutter cleaning, remodeling, or new construction, should leave our clients and properties in as good or better shape than we found them. I prefer the latter. I’m also making clear that it’s our belief, in the long run, doing the right thing is what pays the highest dividend over the long haul. Treat people right, the rest will follow! These are principles in which we have built The Reliable Companies. We’re real. We’re accessible. We’re candid. We’re local. And more than most, we care. Banter aside, don’t ever settle for less- doing so could very well prove detrimental to your mental status, your quality of living, your property, and your finances.
To close out this soap box of dialogue (which my wife tells me no one will ever bother to read anyhow- for those proving her wrong ) if utilizing this as entertaining bathroom reading material, please consider this… If you’ve ever worked with a bad contractor, you’ve work with most. Some providers are really good at performing a service and terrible project/business managers, which affect both parties as time progresses. Others, in our experience, have the capability but struggle with demons larger than they have the ability to control. I wish I had a scratch off for every time a subcontractor asked me for gas money to get home from work or to buy lunch during the day (only to be found dumping this advance into gaming machines in local convenience stores). Regardless of quality these folks may offer, they're simply #notavailableforrehire. Respect means something. Strong morals and a sense of pride in who we are and what we do, means something.
I promise, we are an exception. We aren’t the most readily available, the least expensive, or even the fastest, but with my whole being, I believe we are changing the landscape of London and Laurel County by being the most authentic team of home services providers available anywhere in our area. We’re also a team that has a lot of fun, if you don’t mind the occasional latino praise service being broadcast against the soft and relaxing background of AC/DC, Guns N Roses, and Poison. We’re still warming up to Johnny Cash, Tyler Childers, Brandi Carlisle, and Chris Stapleton. “Your mama”, “knock, knock”, and dad jokes are still beyond understanding for most at this point, but we're getting there? ;)
If you’re interested in a roof evaluation, cleaning or replacement estimate, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We have several regular openings (currently) to service all roof and gutter-related clients. We also prefer a phone call or email, but we also understand folks are all very different in how they prefer to communicate. We haven’t yet mastered the art of smoke signaling, but most other modern day techniques seem to work pretty well.
Click the button over yonder to the side to schedule a visit with our team … no charge for admission!
If we can offer any advice, it's to please not wait to schedule. Summer and fall are so very busy for reputable contractors. Delaying may prevent you from getting to work with the folks you wish to engage most. Click below, send us an email, we're happy to chat with you about any construction, remodeling, or roofing project that you might be considering.
